Isn’t there still a prophet of the Lord here to consult?

Isn’t there still a prophet of the Lord here to consult?

The pope expresses words out of the box on the war in Europe and unmasks the prevailing single thought, without nuances.
But in a society of all-out technicalism, the sincere search for the truth is a marginal issue at best. The apparatuses dominate. The point is that, right from school, the authentic maturation of people in the light of their freely sought spiritual and cultural identity and, at distinct moments, only then authentic exchange is not fostered. The emptying, the homologation, of the false technicalist neutralism prevails. Skills, roles, understood formally.
The company goes mechanically towards the collapse and it seems that no one can really do anything. Will we have to experience a definitive mess to open up to a leap in quality? Will it be possible to spread the seeds of an authentic renewal in various ways? God help us to walk in the path of communion, of obedience, of good availability, but as possible not of the logic of the apparatus, of technicalities…

Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please consult the word of the Lord today.” The king of Israel gathered the prophets, four hundred people, and asked them: “Should we go against Ramoth of Gilead or should I give up?”. They replied: “Attack; God will give it to the king.” Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not yet a prophet of the Lord here to consult?” The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat: “There is still a man, to consult through him the Lord, but I hate him because he does not prophesy good to me, but always evil: it is Micah, son of Imlah”. Jehoshaphat said: “The king must not speak like this” (2 Chr 18, 4-7). Note the dramatic, mild, irony not of him but of life, Jehosaphat’s question.
