The new era of Jesus God and also man

It is truly significant to observe that theology or philosophy of Jesus’ humanity have often considered in a very theoretical way at most the conscience. Philosophy, logic, psychology, concrete discernments, on the other hand, are often elaborated by the guides with earthly reasoning, referring to earthly culture.

Grace can also in a journey through history lead livedly, not with merely intellectual excavations, to the living discovery of Jesus, God and man, that of the Gospels, of his concrete divine and human discernment. What was his logic? How did psychology live? And science, and pastoral care? In everything and even in the latter one can sometimes perceive that he has deduced rational discernments from faith instead of allowing himself to be shaped ever more deeply by Jesus, by lived meditation on the Gospels. Let’s think about when we discern who can be given the Eucharist and who can’t. How many instead of developing their own rational deductions go to see if and how Jesus in the Gospels offered him communion to people and what did he say about it?

Certainly without grace no one can do anything and the seed of the Word of Jesus matures with the timing of the Lord. But hinting at these infinite paths that can be opened across the board can already be a fruitful gift of life, of new openness, of dialogue not circumscribed by false formalisms because Jesus can reveal himself to every man in a thousand ways.

Perhaps also for these reasons Mary announced in Fatima that in the end her immaculate heart will triumph, for these reasons Father Kolbe spoke of an era of the Immaculate Conception. With the help of Our Lady, let us always be led back to Jesus, the God and man of the Gospels, discovering with continual amazement that he lived two thousand years ago and yet only by returning to him are we led into the vital mystery of God, of man, of the world.
